Session 2D: Tall Buildings & Public Identity

October 17, 2016
11:15 AM – 12:45 PM

Perhaps the most common critique of tall buildings is that in their rush to deliver much-needed urban space for growing cities, they often fail in addressing human needs and cultural identity. As such, the three critical themes of tall building contextualization, humanization, and community integration were covered at length over the course of this session.
