Session 3A: Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat

October 17, 2016
1:45 PM – 3:15 PM

The real challenge in tall building design is creating successful vertical urbanism that forms part of an adaptable and authentic city. This session began with a look at how data tools can iterate design options against contextual criteria, moving on to a futurist vision for city hubs in Asia, and finishing with a discussion of the juncture between the ground plane and the tower.
